In an experiment I found that increasing iron concentration from 4 micro molar to 20 micro molar led to increase of Zn and Mn in the plants root and leaf. Do you know how does iron help to Zn and Mn absorption?
Due to the similar physicochemical properties and shared absorptive pathways, zinc (Zn) and manganese (Mn) may interfere with iron absorption. For example, the influence of zinc (Zn) on Fe status may be in relation to their competition for metal transporters.
There has some related research work may be helpful for you to explain your experimental results. Please refer to:

So far I found Zn interferes with the translocation of Fe. Zn inhibit the reducing capacity of iron (Fe3+ to Fe2+) by root. (Soyabean). ( doi: 10.1104/pp.46.2.320 )
