Please, I'm very needing your help
From my reading of some articles related to image processing, I noted that the processing tasks differ from one kind of image to another.
For example, I noted that the noise contaminating the image differs from one image kind to another (SAR image: speckle noise, ultrasound image: multiplicative noise, .... etc).
So, can anyone give me more explanation about this (i.e. how do image processing tasks depend on the kind of the image to be processed)?

I think this really depends on the task at hand, what specifically are you looking to do with your processed image? Which questions are you hoping to answer?
Depending on this the image processing task can vary drastically, indeed the field of image processing itself has many different sub-fields dedicated to solving different common problems (segmentation, computer vision, filtering, etc.)
From what you're describing it looks like what you're interested in is de-noising, there are many different algorithms/methods for de-noising images but one thing they tend to have in common is this: you first need to understand the major sources of noise in the image. Depending on the source of noise, you can deploy different de-noising algorithms in order to process the image. Each ultrasound image either grey or colored will be processed for image processing tasks such as removing noise, filtering by the ultrasound device itself ........after that image
