The Malagasy people is proud of his preventive and curative medicine, the COVID-Organics (CVO). In the prospect of WHO would authorize the use of this drug, could this be an open door to the country's economic expansion?
We have been told in Nigeria that our country has received some drugs from Madagascar for the cure of covid-19. The government is assessing the efficacy of the drugs before payment for it. If it is found to be efficacious Madagascar shall benefit economically.
Dear Ammcise Apply, this is an interesting question. It might be worth carrying out some clinical trial with the herbal medicine Covid-Organics. However, at the moment, its efficacy and safety have not yet been proven, and the WHO even issued a warning against the use of Covid-Organics. In any case it causes Madagascar hit the headlines.
P.S. As a chemist I have a natural skepticism about any kind of natural remedies as they contain ill-defined mixtures of components and drugs. I rather prefer single-component drugs and medications.
Tests/trials need to be completed before any comment can be made. The article is null as it just records a comment without any positive or negative scientific outcomes. WHO opinions on anything other than vaccinations are null as they are largely supported by Bill Gates, who thinks vaccines are the only answer.
Thank you for sharing this paper Professor Arvind Singh! Indeed, there is no scientific evidence to prove the curative effect of COVID Organics on COVID-19. I wondered the possible impact on economic development of the country if that happened.
Professor Ette Etuk , Thank you for your answer! I am agree with the decision of Nigeria's government! As you said, if COVID Organic is clinically proven to be effective, it going to be a huge opportunity for Madagascar.
Professor Frank T. Edelmann , performing clinical trial to conclude the drug's effectiveness can be difficult. As you say, so far, this has allowed Madagascar to gain visibility and, I would say, to receive the respect of certain developing countries which request COVID-organics.
Dear Ammcise Apply, I hope the future will show that COVID Organics has the envisaged popsitive effects. Besides, Madagascar will continue to attract tourists due to its natural beauty and diversity.
