Simply go through the list of predatory journals before sending your research article in any journal. if the journal chosen by you is included in the list of predatory journals, please avoid publishing your research work in it.
Please check both the journals and publisher before you submit. The list can be obtained at https://predatoryjournals.com. There are thousands of them. Check and be alert. Published Predatory Journals are not recognised for graduation nor promotion.
Any journals that needs payment and promises a super turnaround time. Check!
@Asma El Zerey-Belaskri. You should advice them and check out the list available online on the web sites of the ministry of the high education. The list of the predatory journals is edited every year. Good luck
Thank you Pr Safia, but I am asking here in general, many lecturers and students in our universities are not able to recognize predatory editors and journals; I receive everyday emails from students I don't know asking for help after having published their work in a predatory journal. I think that the issue in our case (in Algeria) is that we don’t have routine access to international scientific bases, our students are using « google » for their literature research and their search for journal, even after the creation of SNDL, which is a positive initiative, we still need to perform the scientific research tools il our universities, a point of view (-_-)
