В последней декаде апреля 2020 г. в Иране поднялась вторая волна новой эпидемии коронавирусной инфекции. Новая волна возникла в окрестности пороговой точки, отмеченной примерно 44,000 случаев заражения, где скорость нарастания первичной эпидемии, появившейся в Иране в середине февраля 2020 г, была максимальна. Вторая волна эпидемии почти вдвое превысила пик первичной волны, и, в свою очередь, в начале июня, преодолев новый порог, составляющий около 70,000 случаев заражения, породила новую, третью волну, развивающуюся динамично и непредсказуемо.

I think that researchers should not do as the politicians want, using the epidemic as a good cause to get grants.

Well, economical burden has forced the government to do reopening sooner that what it should be!

Поспешишь - людей насмешишь, as naturally the folk notices right for this target. The folk will pay for as always for all.

yes that seems that at the end of the day humanity suffers!

How sad, in 21 century, we behave as always - almost as 100 years ago during the pandemic 1918-1919.

In some ways;

First the government isn’t able to support the people financially during the lockdown so the country reopened much sooner than it should be.

Second; importing the Testing Kits faced difficulties, although the food and medicine are not sanctioned, no insurance company and transportation organization are ready to work with Iran. Besides how can we pay for a medicine or kit while no banks accept our financial tractions.

Those lead to a catastrophe as we can see in the second wave. 

I hope I won’t be accused as a Machiavellian but the politics and the ethics live in different planets.
