It is really good to work in such humanitarian specialization. In fact, this kind of work need a support from a high level governments and foundations in all sides economically, morally and spiritually. In addition to different kinds of technological facilities that suppose to be available to them. You do a very good job dear Dr.
Thank you very much for the shared opinion, Dr. Liqaa Habeb. You are absolutely right, we must all be concerned with the care of these people, not be indifferent, because their destiny may become ours, in the sense that no one is aging that tomorrow we will not be in their place, will we? Thank you!
I would like to emphasize on practice oriented educational environment. We can give individual as well group based activities, not only to write and present but a real life implementation of those ideas and practices.
Absolutely correct and accurately speaking, prof. Mohsin Abdur Rehman: ' We can give individual as well group based activities, not only to write and present but a real life implementation of those ideas and practice'! Thank you for the comment.
Thank you so much for your opinion, prof. Mhsen Alwan Mohammed Yes: 'Integrated education with practical application and practice'. But how is it'll application?
Yes: 'Through activities awareness and conferences to benefit'! Thank you for your comment. I believe and hope to share information about the opportunities for publishing in scientific journals as well as information on upcoming conferences.
Yes. Ensuring the full compliance of inclusive education, all actors in education must in a concerted efforts help in its implementation in our educational institutions. Strict sanctions must be imposed on teachers and others who impede the smooth running of the ideals of inclusive education. More importantly, bodies in charge of education in countries must intensify the awareness of inclusive education among all the concerned stakeholders in the society through community awareness programmes, seminars and workshops.
Inclusive education should be a must and a constant ingredient in all forms and levels of education to enrich our education and elicit all the benefits therein (inclusive education) for societal/global development.
Yes prof. Dickson Adom . For example, intercultural communication involves knowledge about each other, that is, intercultural themes. The better the cognitive knowledge is, the better the social.Thank you very much for joining the discussion. Every opinion is valuable and significant. Thank you.
I think that instilling values of self-confidence, empathy and desire to learn would help a lot in achieving the interest in studying, you can only teach someone who wants to learn
First, I am impressed with your scientific output. Sincere congratulations! Secondly, you have very much expressed yourself: '..... instilling values of self-confidence, empathy and desire to learn will help a lot in achieving the interest in studying, you can only teach someone who wants to learn'.
I believe that we need to see student success as faculty success and take it personally when we have students who fail. Our goal is to educate them but if we require they fit in a prescribed process that doesn't allow flexibility to understand their learning, are we really both focused on education.
Students need to be focused on learning rather than on passing and grades as a path to a degree. They are often under tremendous pressure for the degrees they learn to pass but not always to internalize the information for authentic learning. Once it is established contractually between the learner and the teacher that education, rather than credits, is the goal the student and faculty can work together to identify when there are learning challenges that are disrupting the learning process.
For example, if students are not taking notes, have a one-on-one with them to find out why. If they are challenged to listen and write at the same time, assist the learner in reaching out to a classmate who loves to take great notes. They may photo the classmates notes at the end of each session.
The classmate who loves to take notes (the one with color markers and post-it page tabs!) may need someone to discuss readings because they do not absorb well with only a reading input. Help them learn to find another classmate who needs to talk through the content outside of class.
By helping learners find their process and teaching them to find their resources, we help them be better learners. They reward us with practicing those great learning skills in our classrooms which results in the students learning more, and doing better. Win-Win. We succeed by having them succeed. It makes our teaching experience more personal and rewarding as well.
When I have better student learning experiences, I am more energized to help more students. When I have poor or troublesome student learning experiences, it drains my energy. If I have an assignment where many people do poorly, I look at that to see what I did to contribute, or cause, that failure. I am not sure that all faculty self-reflect on their teaching as much as they reflect on their research but they should in order to be certain they are addressing, specifically, the needs of the students who are outside the mainstream performance.
Increasingly students have been identified earlier in their education and offered services to help them succeed. But, aside from standard 504, IEP and SDR plans, the needs of how these unique learners succeed both in higher education and beyond that, into an employment situation, relies on people teaching them how to translate their needs from the accommodations provided to them to external resources they identify, seek and negotiate as their own advocates.
Sorry for the long answer. I am pretty passionate about this issue!
Is it always the case, there are people who are burning out of a lot of work, as is the terminology, they are no longer creative in their work, perhaps. I mean, I agree with you, Professor, Mhsen Alwan Mohammed, but every rule is an exception, I think.
One of the most important factors of inclusive education is to provide our educational institutions with qualified and highly competent teachers to ensure a successful outcome of the teaching and learning education. Team work, workshops, conferences are all successful factors that help a lotin reaching this goal.
But why do you apologize, I am sincerely and truly impressed by your answer. I am very grateful to you, dear colleague, professor Jill Hosmer . I have read your answer several times, and your personal attitude and feelings to the problems of your own teaching are really felt. I know from my professor that good teachers are self-analyzing. He even often gave a survey to the students to report their own level through the students' answers. That is, I completely understand you. Thank you for the discussion. In the future, I will be happy to share experiences, knowledge and, most of all, we want to read one another. Information, for example, about opportunities to publish in scientific journals, conferences, how to quote each other. I will really follow you because you have impressed me!
Prof. Hazim Al Dilaimy I fully agree with you, skilled, dedicated, motivated people are the engine of success, they are looking for ways to get things done in the best and most effective way. The others, the others are looking for reasons not to perform the tasks ... but obviously there must be both categories, right?
2.acknowledge and respects differences in children: age, gender, ethnicity, language, disability, HIV and TB status, etc
SOME PRECONDITIONS HELP TO MAKE IT FRUITFU AS FOLLOWS:
A. teachers are trained and motivated to work with a diverse range of children, and are able to try out different approaches in their day-to-day work •
B.school principals and teachers do not turn children away, and they reach out to all children in their community •
C.teachers are recruited from a range of marginalised groups (including disabled people and linguistic minorities) •
D. children are not prevented – by examinations, fees or other barriers – from progressing through school •
E. school management is informed by children’s and parents’ views • children and adults try not to discriminate against those who are seen as different.
Dear Prof. Dr . Farangis Shahidzade , You are so impressively accurate, specific and just. I will keep your points because they are really very clear and spoken. Thank you very much for your opinion. I hope and believe that we will cooperate and help who with whatever they can. I am at your service, I will be happy to help you!
Educators are calling nowadays for inclusion for global education, I think that teachers should be trained to use platforms to communicate with educators and share information. Technology and ICT tools are important means to share information and co-author researches.
I am very impressed by the marvellous, adequate , useful and detailed answer of Dr. Farangis Shahidzade. Collaboration and teamwork , seriousness, as well as other factors outlined in Dr. Shahidzade and other colleagues will make education more fruitful and beneficial.
