I have a model of a 2D environment including circle, triangle, or rectangle like objects and corner points of each object (for circle, center and the radius) in MATLAB. A robot has to detect the obstacles (by each laser beam). It wants to detect the detectable planes and edges only of the obstacles within the LRF's range. For more understanding I have attached a file. Could you please tell me how to get the points of detectable planes/lines or edges only?
