In the flipped classroom, the instructor presents content before the class in advance in the form of an online lecture. How do you make sure the students have watched and followed your instructions?
Perhaps introduce a small formative entry test before they Are allowed to enter the seminar!
You can assign a quiz based on the online content to make sure students have watched the online lecture
Clear instructions with modelling where possible. Although an over reliance on modelled answers means that children find it difficult to work independently or answer test type questions. I would suggest that teachers do not give too many instructions at once. I would also include links to websites that help parents to explain how to complete the activities.
