When at a given site before developing the commercial business centre, the first geotechnical investigation showed that the difference in depth of the water table for two points 500m apart was 2cm and the second investigation showed that the difference in depth of the water table for two points 600m apart was 3cm. The aquifer is unconfined, material is unknown and uniform for the site. Velocity is 6 x10^-6m/s.
I always prefer a pump test stressing theaquifer similar to (perhaps) the delivery rate you expect from the bore hole. I also like to use both drawdown and recovery tests, and do them many times, if possible, because of clogging, iron bacteria or whatever. suggest you use Herman Bouwer's advice, from 'Groundwater Hydrology', say, the material in Chapter 4 or 5.
Please remember that the flow velocity, through Darcy's law follows the total head gradient and the hydraulic conductivity. With layers and resistance at the borehole, in pumping, things are njot ideal and you may need to go to a complex model.
As I see from your explanation, the hydraulic gradient is low. Becouse you know the velocity, did you try to use the simplest Darcy formula v=k*i .For a first estimation this can help.For a unit flow rate you can use in a first approximation q=k*h*i where h is the thickens of the aquifer media.So, depending on geological profile try this.Second way os trought pimping tests.
