There are numerous causes for sore throats. The most common would be virus infections. SVFs or RCFs can also irritate the upper respiratory tract (the nose, throat) and parts of the lungs causing sore throat.
If people who handled SVFs or RCFs developed sore throats how can you determined that that was the cause? Please suggest methods for detection.

The question is whether these fibers are causing the symptom. This could be confirmed by using an industrial mask when exposed to see if the "sore throats" are eliminated. if not the question of bacterial vs viral infection or other causes such as malignancy must be excluded.
