We have so far discussed about passive students to a large extent but have you ever passed some courses with teachers who are mostly stick to their desks and smoothly present their instructions? How students should get the most of these classes and these kinds of teachings?

I believe it boils down to what they believe teaching and learning should be. Inactivity is influenced by so many factors, so it's hard to tell. For me to be able to answer this, I would probably ask a secondary question: What makes them inactive? Why are they inactive? This is so, because jumping directly into finding immediate solution on "HOW" to do things the way you want them to do requires understanding of circumstances, beliefs, and many more.
