I have read about the TOPO I and TOPO II (http://pubs.rsc.org/en/content/articlelanding/2014/dt/c4dt02142h#!divAbstract) assays for understanding the intercalating agents activity.

I have also read about the RT2 Profiler PCR (https://www.qiagen.com/us/shop/pcr/real-time-pcr-enzymes-and-kits/two-step-qrt-pcr/rt2-profiler-pcr-arrays/) which gives the information about the DNA repair proteins.

I would like to know combining these two assays, would I get the clear information about the Intercalating agents or I have to perform any other assays which can give me appropriate results. or There is any assay which can be done during the cell proliferation (Brdu, CFSE, Erdu) which can give the results.
