I have just submitted a revision of an article that I submitted for publication. Only a small achievement, you may think, but I have worked very hard for the past two weeks, trying to find the facts that one of the reviewers suggested that I should include.
But now I've finished and feel happy with my work; it has taken a load off my mind. So I shall have a restful evening and relax.
I wondered how others celebrated big or small achievements.
This feeling of happiness and satisfaction is an inner feeling that cannot always be shared. I remember as a student I celebrated every monthly examination by cleaning my house. I understand that this sounds like a punishment for others:)
I would celebrate by taking my family to a picnic to a tourist area to spend a nice time with each other
Nothing beats the joy and satisfaction in a job well done.
