The size of the fill material which is used in the stone column may vary. how to select the the size of the fill material in PLAXIS 2D or 3D?
Dear Sudheer Kumar Jala
This depend upon the size of PLAXIS 2d OR 3D.
Kind Regards
Qamar Ul Islam
It is not possible to use blocky material in Plaxis or in any other FE program using continuum mechanics. You should otherwise use a DEM software to model rigid blocks.
While you analyse the stone columns in 3D plaxis, the interface should be used. What is the importance of that.
