I try to evaluate the size of object for which it is possible to get brightness temperature. It is known that TIRS bands 10-11 data are collected at 100 meters but resampled to 30 meters to match OLI multispectral bands (http://landsat.usgs.gov/landsat8.php & http://landsat.usgs.gov/Landsat_Processing_Details.php ). What geometrical or radiance changes accompany the resampling process? Analysing TIRS bands images of cities I can see small objects (1-2 pixel size of resampled 30 m) with extremly low / high DN value. And what is the real size or real radiance value of them?
