Dears ,
I am trying to simulate a inset fed microstrip patch antenna on ferrite substrate using HFSS , as known HFSS doesn't support assigning a port to ferrite substrate , so a small dielectric substrate is added for port assignment with same dielectric constant of the ferrite one .
The problem is that I lose matching on 4 GHz (my design resonance) .
Could any one suggest a problem for this? Any suggestion regarding this substrate ? Or the feed line design?
spec:
height = 1.6 mm
Er = 15.4
Fr= 4 GHz

Yes Dear , when you assign a magnetic bias to a substrate in HFSS , you can't directly assign one of the faces as a wave port , or you can't put conductor directly on it as a lumped port
