Hi all

I'm planning to try to solubilise a protein complex in nanodiscs but I am overwhelmed at the amount and variety of types of MSPs! How do I go about selecting which one might yield good results? I know the diameter (approximately) of where the MSP should adhere to my complex (85-95 Angstrom) - does this help me at all? is it wise to leave "breathing room" and go for a larger MSP (e.g. MSP2N2 makes discs of 150A), or is it better to match as closely as possible the protein size to the disc size?

Thanks
