How do I measure bone density of MINI ct scan of the the palate?

I am using amira and osirex. Does anyone know if they can give me density results?

I assume you have incorporated some form of aluminium step-wedge in your scans ? Osirex can certainly provide you with a measure of optical density but you would be wise to have some form of base-line control, such as a step-wedge, with which to compare your data.
