Hi all,

I would like to prepare some electrolyte (vanadium solution) that is used in [vanadium redox flow battery systems] by adding sulfate oxide hydrate, 99.9 (metal basis), VOSO4.xH2O (where x is 4.3  waters of hydration), into 3M sulfuric acid solution, 96 by weight, H2SO4.

I have ordered (250 g) of VOSO4.xH2O  and one liter of ( 3.0 N Standardized Solution, Sulfuric acid), 3 M.

Now after mixing them, how do I get 200 (milliliter, ml) with 1.5 M concentration as a final product solution?

In other words, how many grams ( of 250 g) of VOSO4.xH2O and how much Milliliter ( of 1 liter) of H2SO4 do I need to mix to get a 200 (ml) with 1.5 M concentration as a final product solution?

Any help with that will be highly appreciated!

Thanks in advance,

Mohammed
