Hi everyone,

I had solved a 2D transient problem as attached, fig.1. The inner circle has constant temperature as a boundary condition. I made a path to get the temperature on the outer half  circle as shown in fig.2, where here the temperature is a function of distance(m) from the position where Theta= - pi/2  to Theta= pi/2. I would like to get the temp. as a function of Theta (from -pi/ to pi/2) NOT distance in WORKBENCH ansys. Also, how can I get the average temp. on that half circle at each time? By the way, my coordinate system is Cartesian, so  I do not know whether I need to transform it to cylindrical one or not. If so, how can I do this, please? 

Any help with solved example or web link will be really appreciated!
