I am designing a three phase induction motor(IM) for a required Max. Torque - Speed characteristics (with field weakening upto 18000 rpm). The Knee point from the characteristics is 60 Nm and 4500 rpm which gives a max power of 28 kW . The outer dimensions of the motor is fixed to 140 mm. How is it possible to achieve such a high max. torque with this outer dimension? Also i have read from articles that by decreasing the stray factor of IM, BD torque can be increased to very high values. How can i achieve a low stray factor by changing the geometries of stator and rotor?
