Twitter has an API for downloading tweets and the related properties. With it you can pretty much get wathever you like from the tweets with the limitations of the data that are offered by the AP9 itself (https://dev.twitter.com/overview/api/tweets).
You can also use the NCaputer plugin for NVIVO, or there are several others applications on the web that you can use to download tweets but I have no direct experience with them.
Hi, you can get twitter data from Podargos Data. All you have to do is to tell them your needs.
Podargos can provide twitter historical and realtime data. In additional, it's able to help you retrieve other mobile App data of social networks and e-commerce, and supports for nearly 100 languages. I hope this information can help you.
Hello, for creating Twitter Dataset, you need a Twitter account which will help you create a PIN to authenticate applications like NodeXL, Google spreadsheet, Python, R and tens of other tools.
As someone that has and still is performing market research, I understand that getting raw data is tough. Right now I'm combining my research about Millennials and Sustainable consumption with a full-time job at a company called Tweet Binder (tweetbinder.com), which is specialised in Twitter analysis.
We provide all Twitter's metrics as well as our unique Sentiment Score and Economic Value statistics, as well as downloadable Excel, PDF and JSON files.
We've full access to Twitter's data and our tool lets the user analyze hashtags, keywords, accounts... back in time as well as in real-time. We've got a very cool visualization panel with which you can classify all the tweets of a report in binders as you please: originals, with images, with links, conversations...
We also have an API plan you may find useful.
If you want you can DM me here in Research Gate or send a non-binding e-mail to [email protected], I'll be happy to share an example with you.
You can use a third-party Twitter service-providing tool as I personally prefer Trackmyhashtag. It is an advanced AI-based Twitter tracking tool that can fetch Twitter data for any search topic since 2006 at affordable pricing.
You can simply visit this page: https://www.trackmyhashtag.com/historical-twitter-data
Here, you'll find a request data form which you need to fill with your search term. Within an hour, you will receive a sales rep with data and details.
OR you can visit the link to get free Twitter datasets: https://www.trackmyhashtag.com/blog/free-twitter-datasets/
Developers must first register an application in order to gain access to the APIs of any of the available social network platforms. By default, applications can only access public information on the desired platform. If you need to share Twitter content obtained via the Twitter APIs with another party, the best way to do so is to share Tweet IDs, Direct Message-IDs, and/or User IDs, which the end-user of the content can then re-hydrate (i.e. request the full Tweet, user, or Direct Message content) using the Twitter APIs. This ensures that end users of Twitter content always receive the most up-to-date information directly from Twitter.
Furthermore, the Twitter platform allows for limited non-automated redistribution of hydrated Twitter content. If the developer chooses to share hydrated Twitter content in this manner, he or she may only share up to 50,000 hydrated public Tweet Objects and/or User Objects per recipient, per day, and should not make this data publicly available (for example, as an attachment to a blog post or in a public Github repository).
There are a few other considerations when redistributing Twitter content:
Developers are only permitted to distribute up to 1,500,000 Tweet IDs to a single entity in a 30-day period unless they have received prior express written permission from Twitter.
Individuals redistributing Tweet IDs and/or User IDs on behalf of an academic institution for the sole purpose of non-commercial research are permitted to redistribute an unlimited number of Tweet IDs and/or User IDs.
You can use it to download whatever data you require on whatever topic your research is focusing on, based on whatever keywords you want to search Twitter with!!
