I am trying to generate DEM from cartosat stereo pair. With the help of point measurement tool I have entered the control points and when I perform the auto tie point generation, I received a popup message. The RMSE error was high(0.6). does this pop up message has any relevance in getting high RMSE error? Can anybody suggest how to over come with this pop up message.

Dear Vamana
1.First add image
2. select RCP file
3.do interior & exterior orientation
4. Run Auto die point generation
5. do Triangulation
6. images are fit to image coordinates then give GCP and run again triangulation after giving GCP the images are come to ground coordinates.
If rmse error is high, u have to check all tie points and GCP
u have to check max and min value both image pair
