So the goal of this experiment it is to determinate the dissociation constant of sodium azide from myoglobine , with different sodium azide concentration by spetroscopic methods. We prepare a mother solucion with unknown concentration but higly concentrated and them we have to determinate the concentration on our daughter solucions of myoglobine of equine heart from sigma aldrich M1882
Why not use a colorimetric protein assay such as Bradford or BCA or Lowry? Would there be too much interference from the color of the protein?
Alternatively, you should be able to use the absorbance of the protein and the known extinction coefficient at a particular wavelength to measure the concentration, using Beer's Law.
