New grad student here!
I've looked everywhere and could not find anything helpful, so I was hoping someone would be able to guide me in the right direction.
I have a within-subjects design (1 outcome variable and 1 condition with 4 levels) and I'm running a repeated measures ANOVA for my thesis. However, the assumptions of normality are violated, so I wanted to use bootstrapping to obtain better contrast values. STATA is not letting use the command I have (stated below), and the error message is indicating that "the option , repeated (variable) is not allowed".
Command: bootstrap, reps(1000) seed(1): anova outcome condition id, repeated (condition)
also tried: anova outcome condition id, repeated (condition)

Rather than using -anova-, consider using -mixed-, as shown here:

Note that the xtmixed command shown on that page has been replaced by mixed. (Type help xtmixed in the Command window to see an explanation.)
