You can't analyze these types of questions using thematic analysis. Thematic analysis by its definition is to dig deeper and find a pattern of meaning below the surface. You may need to analyse the findings of the closed-ended questions separately perhaps using descriptive statistics not thematic analysis.

I agree that you do not analyze background characteristics or demographic data in thematic analysis. However, you may want to make comparisons between the what was said by different types of participant, as suggested by Debbie Álvarez-Cruces.

You could use these profile variable with some sort of cross-tabulation (not in typical quantitive sense) style interpretation to see if there is convergence when responses are arranged according to say marital status, gender etc. as suggested by perhaps Debbie Álvarez-Cruces and David Morgan
