I'm trying to model the solubility of lead in different conditions. However, I currently find no way to include the formation (and precipitation) of Pb°
As you might have noticed, the redox couple Pb(0)/Pb+2 is not present on the list of redox couples. Despite this, Pb(0) metal is present as a solid phase in Visual MINTEQ - it is defined from the reaction in which one Pb+2 is reacted with two electrons (E-). To use it in your simulations, all you need to do is to enter a value of the pe or Eh (redox potential), and of course to add Pb+2 to the component list. If you do that, you can perform the same kind of simulations with Pb(0) metal as with any other solid phase! / Jon Petter
