Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs) have offered huge number of online learners the opportunity to learn new skills and expand their knowledge. However, on the one hand, a number of employers have turned to MOOCs to train their staff online and improve their bottom line. on the other hand many students and graduated are looking for MOOCs as career building. I am now doing a study to investigate "Do MOOCs provide any tangible benefits?" I would be grateful if you share your experience with me and your contributions.
My experience with two MOOCs in the year 2013 & 2015 ( MOOC on MOOCs and MOOC4D) really helped me to extend my existing knowledge. MOOCs platform can be very good as supplementary education or to update knowledge. The flexible timing, peer /expert interaction is useful,and finally the exam/grade helps to evaluate performance; subsequent improvement of the productivity of process and personnel can be termed as tangible benefits.

From my point of view, the MOOC has contributed to the training of a large number of people, since it makes access to knowledge more flexible.
I have already studied some courses in this modality and I can affirm that they widen the horizons of knowledge and contribute to the formation. However, MOOCs require an organization of time so that it can be completed to the satisfaction.
