First u should indicate the point sources of the vibration,it can be down by using a piezo
transducer and oscilloscope combined together ,then analyze them ,are the bad installation or unbalanced ?repair or balance the parts,after that for residue of vibration
it can reduced by using a hard mounting base(to get far away dominant vibration frequency)and a appropriate rubber damper with certain thickness and flexibility.
What is the size of the fan? How big is the plant? Where in the ACC is the problematic fan located?
We have conducted work on some very large fan systems (32 foot and larger) and have found that excessive fan blade vibration due to inlet air flow distortions can cause problems for a gearbox in a variety of ways. If this is the case you may end up treating the symptoms rather than the cause.
I agree with the previous comments that you would first need to determine what the dominant frequencies are in order to find the root cause of the problem.
