I would like to know,how can the cytotoxicity of a sample, which exhibits absorption and interferes with wave length measure by MTT assay, be accurately assessed? What kind of modifications can be employed to overcome this interference?

You can measure the absorbance of your MTT alone, the sample(s) alone and then your MTT + samples. That should give you a some direction in terms of the difference in absorbances
