I am rearing maize stem borer in laboratory on natural diet now in winters as we switch over ac to inverter heater it is desiccating over environment n humidity is not increasing from 24% and our eggs are dying out due to low humidity . i am using humidifier also and water filled containers and putting wet cotton below and on sides of eggs jars but of no use could any one help me

I would use a relatively cheap set up like this!
Have you tried moistening the spawning stand by spraying water on it? We had the same problem in the laboratory, it's probably due to the fact that the eggs themselves lose their moisture, we tried this trick and it worked
Yes an Atomizer (Sensing with hygrostat) would be useful to solve this problem
