Hi there, I've been working with a polyacrylamide hydrogel polymerized by carrying out a free radical polymerization. I've been wondering whether it would be possible to facilitate the removal of the unreacted species. So far the washing is done by immersing the gel into the PBS solution and keeping it overnight, but the process is rather slow. Maybe there are some ways to facilitate that by using a solvent exchange technique? The gel is very small (around 60 μm).
