Many studies are using the average power spectrum, mostly, in geophysical potential field methods, for more than 5 decades, Spector and Grant 1970. This kind of frequency analysis was succesfully aplies to map the curie magnetic surface. My question what does the estimation depths mean for layered midiums?

In particular, Chapter 3 Power spectrum and its applications, 114-128 gives a description of the use of radial spectrum for a many layer problem.
