We should teach them as our parents did. Kids should be aware to take the higher degree of hygienic measures in public places. But, in practice it is not working that simply 😎
Parents and teachers should be role models in this respect and they should also emphasize the importance of maintaining personal hygiene and hazards of not maintaining hygiene in the public places in the family and at school setting. Schools should arrange monthly video lectures and public talks on the importance of the hygiene.Children should be given easy to read literature about the various aspects and importance of maintaining pubic place hygiene.Children should be provided with the information regarding the diseases and other issue that can result in case of avoidance to maintain public place hygiene.

The education of cleanliness lies with the mother and the family. She is the first and last educator for her children. She is the one who instills the basics of life in them and teaches them how to be clean and encourage them to do so since they are young children.
The children will learn that from their parents behavior and from all the people around ...
So I think that the good thing to teach the children to maintain hygiene in public places is to teach their parents and all the community first all what we want to teach the children .
As we all know that children activities start from their observation which place the part of their behavior & action with this it is the responsibility of parents that right from childhood parent should learn them the behavior of discipline , & all the norm of cleanness in the life even from their food , including going from their bed . If this be a case such children may not the become victim of any bad behavior or association .
February this year, in the Catalan-speaking Spanish Balearic island where I live, they organized a workshop to "let the parents know what their kids learn at school". Micro-plastic are not shells.
As a microbiologist I think that most parents misunderstand the idea of good personal Hygiene. Good personal Hygiene does not mean to prevent kids from contact with any microbes the kids need to be in contact with small amounts of different antigens so their immune response can be stronger. But the most important things that should be avoided and not to be in contact with are blood, urine and stool bacause it carry a high number and a highly pathogenic agents. Now with the increasing rate of autoimmune disease the new approach in treatment is by contact to antigens of certain pathogenes to reduce the autoantibody level confirming the need for such contact in early childhood.
Most health practices are acquired - often - during childhood, so it is easier to change children's habits compared to adults, through participatory approaches to change in hygiene habits and public health, and use a range of exercises and educational toys to teach children.
We have an inspection team :) among our classmates who would check our nails, shoes etc and annual medical check- up . We had to clean our classrooms that was a turn based activity (No escaping) . Made to be aware about cleaning and hygienic habits .
The child learns from his parents any behavior and behavior they do so parents must abide by the hygiene to see the child and work to imitate them until cleanliness becomes part of his daily behavior
