To stop it, we need to understand the reasons for deforestation, including climate change, population explosion, and so forth. Long term solutions will requires changes in interconnected systems. Short term changes will require initiatives to encourage plant a tree movements, initiatives to reduce paper use by going paperless, and better land use planning.
To promote full awareness among the population of all age groups by distributing some awareness brochures or to show a good space for how to protect trees within school curricula. Before proceeding with the construction process, it is important to try to evaluate the trees in the area before cutting them. Trees may be very important.
Proper education of the people in our society to stop the indiscriminate felling of trees (deforestation) and continue advocating tree planting ( at least one tree is planted for one tree felled)- afforestation.
Going vegan helps protecting forests and environment mostly To eat meat , first you have to feed animals everyday for months. To be able to do that you need more and more land. Just go vegan, stop animal cruelty, gain your health and protect environment before it is too late.
Trees can be saved if protected zones are established where no trees are allowed to be cut down. Also governments have to pass laws by which people are not allowed to cut trees. People can be encouraged to plant thousands of trees in the desert and arid areas.

Replacing wood by non-wood resources in paper and board industry may be one of the approaches for saving trees and forests. This is obvious in the below mentioned review article. Best wishes to you all.
Change starts from within. If you want to change something, start by changing yourself. Take responsibility, dont give the responsibility to others, to the third parties. Start using less products made of trees, go vegan, plant a tree every year to a place nearby you, etc. Be the change!
Paper is prepared from wood pulp. Every year large numbers of tree are felled down to produce paper. Therefore, trees can be saved by reducing the wastage of paper.
1. Plant more trees: In common, few old trees die due to old age or get destroyed due to heavy winds and rains. This natural phenomenon decreases number of trees. So planting trees where possible is an answer to this natural reduction in tree population.
2. Use Tree guards: 📷When the plant is small, it has small trunk which can be easily broken down by animals or even machines during work. Even few cattle try to graze on them. So until plant grows into a big tree, it is good to keep their trunks protected by use of tree guards.
3. Use organic fertilizers: While you grow any tree, do not use artificial chemical fertilizers. It is believed than natural fertilizers enhance life span of plants. The plants grown by use of natural fertilizers are found to be less prone to diseases and pests. Also they are stronger and more durable than those grown by use of artificial fertilizers.
4. Prefer to grow fruit or other valuable trees: Trees grown in lawn or farms, if not useful are cut off for more space or beauty in future. So try to grow trees which yield fruits or other valuables. In this way, one may not develop a desire to cut them off in future if the find intrusive.
5.Prevent excess deforestation: This might need a community effort. In many places of the world, there is extensive deforestation in the name of development and industrialization leading to destruction of environment. In the process many old trees are cut down mercilessly. One can prevent such deforestation by organized efforts
Use less paper save trees: Paper is exclusively made from trees.
Previously paper was used only for books and paper for study or for records. But, now a days due to industrialization and technological advancement, paper use has become enormous. We waste paper for monthly bills like telephone, electricity, ATM transactions etc. Using online payment methods and digital bills can help reduce the wastage of paper and thereby save trees.
7. Avoid use of disposable wood material: There are many disposable items made of wood like wooden spoons, plates, utensils etc. Try to avoid them for single use. Instead prefer metallic ones where possible.
8. Governmental rules: Most of the time, businesses run with intention of money and have least concern for nature. They do lot of advertising by distribution of paper brochures, leaflets etc. Further, just to make money they develop real estate projects. Though it is not necessary for public or not suitable for, ventures are laid out and many tress are cut down. Governments can enforce rules to prevent unnecessary lay out for real estates.
At Sustainable Environment Food and agriculture initiative, Lagos Nigeria. we have come up with operation sweet trees, a project intended to plant 10,000 fruit trees. we believe if people find the direct economic benefit of trees such as nutritious juice, shade and beautification. they will more be directly responsible for keeping trees. unfortunately funding and governments are frustrating efforts at realizing this goal. In my opinion, there is no best way for saving trees. All the different suggestions - ways of protecting trees embedded in schools curricula, planting trees, maintaining green areas, laws to protect trees especially......will serve to protect trees
Proper education of the people in our society to stop the indiscriminate felling of trees (deforestation) and continue advocating tree planting ( at least one tree is planted for one tree felled)- afforestation. Agree with author
It is the commercialization of exotic woods from jungle and wooded areas that probably cause most damage to the ecosystem - even though people might replace these trees, generally they are with quick growing trees which are not the same as majestic old trees. We have to learn that nature has created a wonderful balance which we have to learn to respect by protecting certain areas. How we do this is not so easy with so many greedy people with their fingers in the pie. Warm regards Tina
Trees play a major role in keeping our world pleasant. Protecting tress must be on the top of our priority list. Strict actions by the government must be taken to protect trees. Damaging tress mean damaging the world.
If we planted 10 trees for every baby born we would soon have many forests - local Governments could allocate so this could be easily done. I believe they used to do this in some parts of India with great success -
Engagement of community people with afforestation program toward management as well as safeguard of forest resources can be proved wise in this manner.
Even though I think what really provides us oxygen is the seaweed because for example artic forest, over a year, produce more carbon dioxyde than oxygen, because seasonal sun timing and angle, we should protect trees by turning digital and abandoning first newspaper, then paper toilet, which is a major unspoken issue, and (I resist myself) finally, books.
