Biogas systems using kitchen waste and other organic wastes are becoming popular in urban as well as rural areas in developing countries as a means of solid waste management and also as a source of energy for cooking. The composition of biogas is ~ 60% CH4 and 40% CO2 with some traces of H2S. The efficiency of the stove which use this biogas is quite low. Is there any simple, low cost techniques available to remove the CO2 or enhance the CH4 which can be easily adopted in a household level.
