You may sometimes feel that research is for developed countries, but the developing country has no stake except through the media in supporting and advancing scientific research.
While there are thousands of distinguished researchers in developing countries in the shadows, only a very small number of brilliant names from these countries come to the fore in global research centers and developed countries.

I will share with you our experience in Syria, where we face many global difficulties against us, and many blockades, even educational ones.
Many independent research teams (several researchers with or without a supervisor) and with exceptional individual efforts of these teams have achieved high scientific achievements that have raised Syria’s name high on the world level. He proved that despite marginalization and lack of opportunities, success is possible
As another Syrian experience, we continued in the research teams to spread awareness and continuity, and it developed into organized and licensed institutional work. We established an association for practical research, Stemosis for Scientific Research in Syria, which is an established and licensed scientific institution.
We now have many collaborations, albeit modest and few, with several scientific researchers, regardless of nationality.

Licensing and establishment make the work regulated, guarantee rights, and follow up and ensure the application of ethics in research work. The presence of these components enhances the possibilities of diverse national cooperation without discrimination or racism.
But the defining element remains the personal culture and individual morals of each person. You will find people with a very high level of knowledge, but they carry bad racist ideologies that bully others!! (Unfortunately)
This disgraceful behavior related to a person’s morals, even if the institutional policies and procedures are of the highest degree of strictness, will still cause his eyes to look at others with contempt because they are different from him, or because they are from countries poorer than his own.
