To develop a subjective scale rating for employees with stress, you may be interested in Q Methodology. With "Q", you can actually measure subjectivity and also use "Q" program for factor analyses. "Q" helps you to measure subjectivity relating to your own company employees needs.

you can also use the Perceived Stress Scale in its 10 items version. It is easy to use, it has been validated for occupational stress measures by Bellinghausen, L., Collange, J., Botella, M., Emery, J.-L. et Albert, É. (2009). This scale is short enough to be inserted in a larger questionaire and it is compliant with the Demands-Control-Support model (by Karaksek) proposed by Mr Bianchi. You'll be able to find several studies using this scale if you need to have some comparison.

When using Q methodology, you must develop a "Q sort". A "Q sort" is a limited amount of statements. One statement for each card of the Q sort. You gather these statements from the employees regarding stress. The process is to choose about 40 individuals and interview them about stress. Tape record their statements. Each statement they make can be a "Q sort" card. A good collection may be about 50 statements.
In order to understand the "Q sort" you need to read how to do this. Look up all the info you can on the internet. A Dr. Stephen R. Brown, at Kent State University, has written a lot about "Q". I suggest to begin there with Dr. Brown. You will also need the "Q" sort program for the factor analyses part of the discourses (statement cards).
For "Q" - it is like learning a new language. There is no one better to start with than Dr. Stephen R. Brown. When I was at Kent, I called him "Dr. Q"
