I have Leq data measured from various stations covering traffic junctions, residential, commercial and industrial, from a week long assessment of both morning and evening time period.
Hi Suhina, in order to calculate L10, L90.... and so on (percentiles) you would need the time record of the whole measurement. Usually, the sound level meter (sml) is configured to record LAeq values in a defined period of time. You need to extract this data from the sml and process it in matlab or excel. In excel the L90 is estimated using the function =percentil(data, 10) and L10 is calculated as = percentil(data,90). Please be awared of the conventions as in excel, percentil 90 means the 90 percent of the data that is below the threshold..... leading to L10
