How can we get the composition of Li2+xC1−xBxO3(LCBO) ?

Hi, I am looking into the synthesis of Li2+xC1−xBxO3(LCBO) using solid state reaction of Li2CO3 and B2O3. How can we get the chemical composition of the product after synthesis? Also, is there any other better way of synthesizing LCBO with different values of x?

In the reaction Li2CO3 with B2O3 no LCBO is formed, only Li2B2O4 and CO2:

Li2CO3 + B2O3 = Li2B2O4 + CO2

To get LCBO you need carbon and metallic lithium instead of lithium carbonate:

Li + C + B2O3 = Li2+xC1−xBxO3
