Can we have the calulation done for a succeeding year when the first publication appeared after we truy began our research career? Can we supply the second year of publication?
It would depend on various factors such as the nature of the anomaly and the quality and originality of the research. Generally speaking, it is possible to evaluate the number of publications in a second year and compare it to the previous year as a benchmark for research performance. It may be useful to consider other metrics such as the impact factor of the publication, citations, and collaborations with other researchers.
The anomaly was that research activity had stoped for two years because of clinical training so the comparison to other researchers based on the year of publication of the original paper does not consider that gap.
