I think save the spectrum as an ASCII file - then you can import or open this with either Notepad or directly with Excel.

If you have already extracted the data-

1) you can use the instrument software to convert to csv, text or other ASCII format.

2) Use Spekwin

3) If you have MATLAB for your data analysis, you can use this submission-http://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/22736-perkinelmer-ir-data-file-import-tools

For future measurements-

1. Change the default output format to something you can manage

2. If you have OriginPro, always use JCAMP-DX as your default output format; you can then import all the files in a single go.

Just save your data as data points, hence you should be able to read it from excel to work with them. Hope this is helpful. Best regards. Hiram
