Kindly suggest the clear protoccol for extraction and characterization of bio-active compounds from spirulina platensis. we want to extract from the hot water not from the powder which are commercially available. please suggest with your valuable answers?

So you need a clear protocol to extract bioactive compounds from the plant not a dried form? If this is what you mean! what sort of bioactive compounds you look for? if Flavonoids three are more than 5000 compounds. Specifiy what do you interested in. If you interested in the the most important flavonoids such as quercetin, luteolin kampferol....I can send you a clear protocol for a developed method we 've done in our lab. Best regards
