How can we download recent and updated Met Data for HSPF?

I am new to HSPF model. I want to run HSPF for the recent period. When I downloaded met data from BASIN, most of the data are very old.

I had downloaded daily rainfall data from NOAA for the stations, I imported them to WDM file, but I could not run HSPF using just daily rainfall data. So I have some questions,

What are the minimum data required to run HSPF ( Like PCP, Temperature, wind speed, humidity, solar radiation etc)?

Do I need to download all the required data in hourly format?

Is there any source that can download data and add them directlt into a WDM file?

Can we download the weather data in a format that can be imported into the WDM file? so that it can be used to run HSPF?
