Nowadays, knowledge sharing becomes the ultimate process to improve the library services and strategic management of library. But there certain things on which knowledge sharing is based i.e. Culture etc. In this regard, what are the different things by which we can develop and nurture knowledge sharing culture in libraries for the benefit of all?
It depends on what you wish your audience to learn? I believe culture is best experienced on a first-hand basis; to this end, why not organize a cultural day at your library based on any one or two specific areas. Examples; attire and food, family life, dance and music, geography and landmarks, arts and craft, etc.
Invite members of your community with distinct and diverse cultural background to come and showcase their native cultures on those areas. It could simply be poster-board presentations with pictures. Or modeling of clothes, sampling of food etc.

I think Dad Khan question relates to culture in terms of resource sharing. In India we dont have school libs in many govt schools. reading habits are missing. But when the student goes to UNIV or joins into research needs to have materials relating to his topic. The libraries are neglected lot and least priority is given. The libraries feel that the books / journals are their property and should not share to outside institutions. This culture needs to be changed with pursuation and educating the library staff..
The resource sharing is essential and such culture is need of hour. as an young person, u shd educate for resource sharing?
