I think research excellence is doing a research which is beneficial for the future researchers, people in industry (Practitioners) and also the society. I would not say its research excellence but I always care about all these points. One could say that excellence in research is desirable in any type of research; but, the stakes are higher when findings are meant to influence decisions that affect people’s lives, the environment, governance, or other areas of development. .
