Creating a machine learning model is a deliberate action. Obviously, you want to perform a regression task, and the fundamental thing you need to do is to source for data related to the task you want to achieve. Since you want to predict the yield of bioethanol using yeast fermentation. You will need to source the data, perform several exploratory data analysis, feature scaling, and engineering. You may also need to do an extensive literature review on the topic. That, will inform you on the best combination of features and models that are necessary to achieve a robust result. Don't forget that you will do an elaborate out-of-sample testing of your model(s) to ensure optimal performance.
