I need to convert my polymeric compound which is very thick and sticky semi-solid into a very fine solid material. Is there any way to do apart from applying stress on the material.
Please suggest some other techniques available (If Any).
Try to freeze your polymeric compound with liquid nitrogen, and then powder it while it is cold, and see if you can retain the powdered form again, when brought back to room temperature. In case it again retains its sticky semi solid form, then one has to think of some other technique.
Getting a dry powder is another task. The polymeric material is practically insoluble in water so first I am sure that my compound is dry already. Just I need a technique to powder it from the thick semi-solid form.
