How can we check the specificity of an antibody? If we don't have knockout mouse for that particular antigen and we also don't have purified antigen ?

Specificity of an antibody is the most important factor in IHC/IF. Without specificity check there is no reliability of our data. So how many methods are there to check an antibody's specificity to a particular antigen ?
