Li2CO3 -> 2Li+  + CO32-  

That means if you have 1 M of Lithium Carbonate, then the ion concentration of Lithium is 2 M on complete dissociation (which is expected for this compound).

I agree with Endy. Also please if you need correct number measure a moisture of your Li2CO3 and use this factor in your calculations ( Msalt*0,98 or other K).

In aq. sol. both the salt ionic species of lithium carbonate are involved in hydrolysis (acid-base) equilibria:

Li+ + 2H2O ⇌ LiOH + H3O+

HCO3- + H2O ⇌ CO32- + H3O+

Lithium bicarbonate (metastable) is more soluble in water than lithium carbonate.
